8.14 Diagnostics Screen

Information about the recovery, the self-encrypting drive, and the ESC software installed is available

through a diagnostics screen. This screen can be accessed by pressing CTRL + D at any time while in pre-

boot.

8.15 Notifications

Embassy Security Center provides notifications that inform the end user of changes made to the self-

encrypting drive. They appear as notification balloons in the notification area near the bottom right of

the screen, and as logs in Windows Event Viewer.
